Each June, close to 1000 participants from all over the country descend on Sandy Beach for the Annual Cohasset Triathlon. This sprint triathlon (1/4 mile swim, 12 mile bike, 3.2 mile run) has become a premier multi-sport event in the Northeast.

As the first triathlon in this part of metro Boston, the Cohasset Triathlon has introduced many athletes to the sport for the first time. For elite racers in the region, our race has become one of the most sought after sprint competitions of the season. The Cohasset Triathlon combines a beautiful and challenging course with the spirit of competition—all for the benefit of a charity we believe in, Juvenile Diabetes.
